WELCOME TO THE PV PRIMARY SCHOOL CAFETERIA
Our cafeteria includes our hard-working staff of Mrs. McIlwain, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Marshall and Mrs. Roscoe. Listed below are different sections that give a multitude of information in regards to food service at our school.
FREE BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served daily, as soon as students get off of the bus and the school day begins. Breakfast carts are located at designated places in the school where they can pick up a breakfast bag, each and every morning. Breakfast is FREE for each meal, which includes the main entrée, a side of fruit, juice and milk.
FREE LUNCH
Lunch is served daily in our cafeteria at the designated lunch periods throughout the day. Lunch is FREE for each meal. That includes the main entrée, one half-cup of vegetable, one quarter-cup of vegetable, a half-cup of fruit and milk. Milk cartons (8oz.) are available separately for 75¢. Bottled water can be bought for $1.00.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS & FOOD ALLERGIES
Our district offers milk substitutes and can offer meal alternatives for students that have dietary restrictions and/or food allergies. In order to receive these accommodations, food service must have documentation from a doctor/physician stating exactly what these restrictions or allergies are. Once we receive proper documentation, cafeteria staff will be made aware of these restrictions. A memo will be entered into the point-of-sale system to alert staff and cashiers any and every time the student comes through the serving line for food. In addition, each kitchen will have a detailed list of students with these restrictions and allergies. The food service works along with the school nurses to try and ensure we are all current on the list of students throughout the school year.
ONLINE MEAL ACCOUNTS
For your convenience, we offer a website that allows you to view your child’s purchases, account balances, set up balance reminders via e-mail and make online payments towards an account. This website is called My School Bucks and can be found at www.myschoolbucks.com (tap the image below to be routed to the webpage). It’s easy to sign up for. You will need your student’s ID number to set up an account. If you do not know the student’s ID number, you can make a request for it through the website or contact Jodie Fetters, PV Food Service Supervisor, for the information.
PLEASE NOTE…DEPOSITS ONLINE THROUGH THE MY SCHOOL BUCKS WEBSITE/APP TAKES 24 TO 48 HOURS TO PROCESS AND UPLOAD INTO THE FOOD SERVICE SYSTEM.
