We are excited to invite your child to breakfast and lunch in our cafeterias. To make buying meals as easy as possible, we would like to remind you of the services we offer.
Breakfast: Breakfast is served daily, as soon as you get off of the bus at school.
Lunch: We are committed to serving healthy meals that meet the standards for the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act (HHFKA). Students are allowed to decline some foods, but they are also encouraged to take all the item offered to them. They may take all 5 food groups offered or choose to only take 3 of them. However, as a requirement of the Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act, the MUST take a least 1 fruit or vegetable.
Menus: Each month we post the new breakfast and lunch menu for each school on the school website, which is found at www.pvschools.org.
Your Point-Of-Sale Meal Account: All students in the Middle and High School have a PIN to access their meal account in the cafeteria. If your student does not have a PIN number or does not know it, you can call or e-mail Jeffery Richards, PV Food Service Supervisor, at (440) 293-6488 or email@example.com. This account provides a confidential way for the cashier to know if a student qualifies for free or reduced meals, allows students to charge (if needed), and allows you to pre-pay for meals.
Online Meal Accounts: For your convenience, we offer a website that allows you to view your child's purchases, check account balances, set up balance reminders via e-mail and make online payments towards an account. This website is called My School Bucks and can be found at www.myschoolbucks.com. It's easy to sign up. You will need your student's ID number (different than the PIN number that is used at the cash register) to set-up an account. If you do not know the student's ID number, you can make a request for it through the website or contact Jeffrey Richards, PV Food Service Supervisor, for the information.
Free & Reduced Meal Applications: Please complete and return your free/reduced meal application as soon as possible if you feel that you may qualify. Any charges that occur before your application has been approved, are your responsibility. If you don't qualify now, but feel that you may in the future, meal applications will be available in the office, cafeteria or online for the duration of the school year, and you may apply at any time.
